I recorded this track in Seattle with a Multi-Platinum producer named Tyler Dopps. He's worked with Macklemore and a lot of other dope artists. It was cool to work with someone thats got a lot of accolades like that. I mixed this track as well as Tyler Dopps.

And that goes for me too came out the blue with self criticism
I finally grew it's nothing new yes time is tickin

Its never stopping so you better start watching
How you act think and speak around everyone ya see
I been depressed too long I been stressed but strong enough
To overcome and its not over until I'm done

Figuring out what the message is struggles are where the blessing is
So many times I question it living too long as a pessimist
Up all night sketching this picture that keeps messing with

I know exactly how it feels to be stuck like a magnet
I been there when all my hopes and dreams became stagnate

I see where I'm going the destination ain't that far

Life is an every day test and yes it's hard
But every morning when you wake up it's a fresh start
I know I never got handed the best cards
The bullshit will make you who you are so expect scars

These past few weeks I been down in a slump
Boomerang generation and I'm not that young
They turn their backs and laugh at mistakes I done
But I won't stop these raps even with a collapsed lung

But am I getting a little too old for this Distracted I'm losing focus
More often it's hopeless I keep asking why I wrote this
Making music no one notices lately on my loner shit
The past let go of it success I always wonder if

It's something that can happen to someone working for no pay
Everything I create is home made
My goal is to show my soul for the rest of my days
Put your hands up towards the sky cause everything will be ok
